Gen:Lock for me spanned all of 2018 and into 2019. The style of the world went through a journey of transformation to find itself. Development for Gen:Lock was hard and it forever changed the studio in the months after it's debut.
The majority of my time was spent getting massive sets with trash bought and boolean geo through the pipe to publish. This terror of a project changed they way we did things at RT and for the better. RWBY 7, 8, and (other stuff) followed with stronger asset planning and communication between art - layout - scout - animation. This was a defining growing pain for the studio and in the end made us better at what we do.
