RvB Zero - I think it was around the end of RWBY 7 that we had a few days to help out with RvB. I was tasked with using flipped store assets to create the Shatter Squad Race set. It was a super fast turn around, I had one day to download and look over assets for planning based on storyboards and one day to make it. Considering the short timeline I think it turned out great. It was fun to be a bigger part of the concept and planning phase of development and to work in Unreal.
RvB Fortnite - A week or so later I was hit up again for another fast turn around on some support for a Fortnite promo. Master Chief was going to be in Fortnite and they wanted Ninja and RvB to be part of the announcement. For this part I stayed out of the Unreal set and just focused on assets in Maya. I created tacos that didn't get nearly enough attention and random base building assets that I based loosely on Fortnite assets. Mixed with store assets the build was a dome of this junk thrown together by the RvB gang. The concept was a silly time lapse of the build that ended with Master Chief destroying it with his grand entrance. Somethin went wacky on the Unreal side of my asset placement but it really is only something I would notice. I always loved working with the Deathbattle and RvB guys. Super talented people that wear all the hats in developing these animations.
